The Department of Labor’s Great Hall may be smaller than the grand spaces of our sister agencies, but that just makes the challenge more rewarding. Designing high-impact events in a compact venue requires creative staging, smart use of lighting, and thoughtful camera placement to give each event the presence it deserves. Whether it was a cabinet-level announcement or a major awards ceremony, maximizing this space to feel both intimate and important was always one of the most enjoyable parts of the job.
