Let’s get you caught up with the Twitch stream of bumpthekoala.
Photographers have figured out how to capture long periods of time to create beautiful time lapses. Our social media feeds and television shows are filled with hours of sunrise becoming ten seconds of exploding light over the skyline. Empty city streets bursting with life as rush hour fills the streets.
What happens when a copycat serial killer begins to use that artistic form to capture the suffering of his victims?
How can the popular timelapse artist the killer imitates help the detective-in-charge catch the killer?
And how can the duo stop the killer from claiming the murderer’s next victim: The artist’s fiance?
My name is Ray Flores and I’m writing a screenplay called “Killing Time.” I see this story as a mixture of “Se7en”, “The Social Network” and the photography blog Peta Pixels. A horror film with brains, visual beauty, and a variety of nasty bits that culminate into an epic conclusion hopefully nobody sees coming.
I encourage you to catch up by reading the first 30 pages of the script, which you can view below.
